Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands Department of Public Safety will work closely with the Sex Offender Registry Administrative Board in refining the legislation, policies and procedures to ensure SORNA program compliance and effectiveness. In reinforcing the partnership, grant funds will be used to maintain operational level on the island of Saipan and continue in developing sex offender registry efforts on the islands of Rota and Tinian.
