FY 2023 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program

South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division will use AWA grant funds to enter a procurement contract with vendor, Team IA, for its Internet Connector tool. The tool will assist the state with keeping track of the daily requests (new registrants, changes to home or work addresses, changes to vehicles, etc.) received from different counties. This new tool will allow the division to have unlimited secure portals, remote access utilizing e-forms, unlimited digital signatures and workflow. Additionally, the grant funds will support temporary personnel to help solve protocol issues from local jurisdictions, statewide training to sheriff’s offices, and purchase of a vehicle for sex offender registration.
