FY 2023 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program

The Indiana Department of Correction will use AWA grant funds to procure contract services to update its Resource Toolbox, which includes information related to Indiana’s sex offender registry, including legislative changes, case law, out-of-state registration information and contact information. The grant funds will also support a project facilitator who will assist with document acquisition and review determinations for counties with high numbers of sex offenders and develop and assist with training for local law enforcement.
