SMART FY 2023 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program

The purpose of this project is to reduce sexual recidivism on the Nez Perce Reservation by maintaining a Comprehensive Approach to Sex Offender Management (CSOM model). This project will help to better implement community policing and monitoring of registered offenders. The primary activities of the project will be to maintain a SORNA coordinator, fund a SORNA patrol officer position, purchase equipment, continue public education and outreach, and support evaluation and collaboration.
