FY 2023 Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program

Oregon will use AWA grant funds to support personnel with the preparation and updating Oregon’s Administrative Rules regarding sex offender registration. Personnel will also write legislative concepts to outline actions needed for the state to substantially implement SORNA and work to expand the state’s law to allow for the posting of more sex offenders. Additionally, personnel will update internal policies and attend training to include not only SMART Office training, but statewide training.
