FY 2022 Adam Walsh Act Program: Puerto Rico Department of Justice

The Puerto Rico DOJ will use grant funds to strengthen and update the PR-CJIS Integrated Registry (RCI) system with new technology for data management, storage, and information exchange to enhance SORNA implementation and improve the Sex Offender Registry and related services. Specifically, funding will support procurement contracts to update the PR-CJIS RCI system, and training and conference travel for the CJIS Director and SOR Administrator. These planned activities will help PR-CJIS take a significant step forward toward the implementation of SORNA.
