FY 22 AWA Grant Program: Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security is the executive branch agency responsible for overseeing the Sex Offender Registry Board (SORB) and its effort to substantially comply with and implement SORNA requirements. Grant funds will support the existing database (vendor xFact), electronic file storage (vendor Unity Plus), and support needed for enhancements to SORB’s electronic file storage system. This will also allow SORB to digitize the historical paper documents of active sex offenders to be uploaded into Unity Plus, allowing easy access and sharing with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
