FY22 AWA Grant Program: New Jersey Department of Law & Public Safety

The New Jersey State Police (NJSP) will use grant funds to address the issues of noncompliance and assist in maintaining the most accurate and complete NSOR records. The NJSP will procure a new application with Watch Systems--NCIC Boost--to provide a method that will support the identification, correction, and population of erroneous/missing NSOR data. Furthermore, to assist in alleviating the issue of fingerprint collection and submission, the NJSP will purchase Live Scan devices to collect and submit fingerprints. These purchases will bring agencies into compliance with required fingerprint collection or assist in keeping agencies in compliance by replacing outdated equipment.
