The State of Indiana Department of Corrections (IDOC) will develop a statewide sex offender management training program. The advisory team that will work on developing this training is a multidisciplinary group representing various agencies with a stake in the creation of a complete, current, and readily accessible system containing information on sex offenders in Indiana. This Advisory Team will develop a regional training curriculum focused on comprehensive sex offender management issues to be held at six regional locations in Indiana. Information will be provided on sex offender management, SORNA legislation, new technologies, compliance, and supervision in the community in addition to issues prominent at the regional level.
