CA DOJ will contract consulting services to assist CA DOJ personnel with updating the current AIMS document and include a strategic plan component. Updating the AIMS document is vital to CA DOJ’s continuous effort in ensuring all supporting sex registration and notification technologies remain consistent, sustainable, and cost efficient to bolster the CSOR’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. The update will also include an enhanced stand-alone strategic plan component. This consists of addressing the current and future plans of CA DOJ’s sex offender registration and notification infrastructure from an IT perspective. Additionally, this will ensure CA DOJ remains in compliance with the Statewide Information Management Manual, Section 110, as part of the IT policy.
Through the 2021 AWA grant funding, AIMS update effort, the CA DOJ will ensure the AIMS document remains aligned with other supporting agencies current IT policy and project requirements.
